About The Workshop
In this hands-on STEM experience, participants will design and build a balloon-powered car while exploring key scientific and engineering concepts such as force, motion, air pressure, and friction. The challenge demonstrates how scientific thinking and the engineering design process come together to build deep conceptual understanding. Participants will also experience and unpack the pedagogical approach behind teaching STEM through inquiry, experimentation, and reflection.

Iqra Shaikh is an engineer-turned-education innovator and co-founder of Pi.kademy, reimagining schooling through student-designed schedules, makerspace learning, and real-world projects that build agency, creativity and leadership in children.
